THE PONTOON BOAT:  Jordan Lake Tours offers a large, safe and luxurious pontoon boat to accommodate your group in style and comfort.  The pontoon features large cushioned seating, a bimini top and additional front canopy for adequate shade. The boat accommodates up to 14 people per tour and is handicap accessible.

HOW TO BOOK YOUR TOUR:  Visit BOOK A TOUR to view pricing and click on the book now button on that site.  You can search for a date and time to book your tour.  We are open 7 days a week.  If the date and time are showing on the booking page - it is yours to book!  Please note the sunset times and weekends book up quickly so book early to get the date and time you desire.  If you have any trouble booking online, email your desired date/time.

PAYING FOR YOUR TOUR: (not applicable for Groupon) A $50.00 deposit is due when you book a tour. The deposit is refundable if you cancel within 3 days of your tour or if weather is an issue.  Your balance will be due prior to your tour paid via credit card, cash or check to Jordan Lake Tours.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  You must cancel your tour within 3 days of your scheduled date and time or your $50 deposit will not be refunded.  If you have a Groupon and do not show up on your scheduled date/time, your Groupon will be considered null and void.  If you have an expired Groupon, you can still book a tour and use the amount you paid for the Groupon towards a regularly priced tour.

ALCOHOL POLICY :  If all members of your party of 21 and older, you may bring a bottle of wine on the boat. There is a 2 drink maximum per passenger.

SWIMMING:  The 2 hour tour is a set route and does not allow time for swimming. In addition, we have other tours scheduled throughout the day and are unable to allow the boat to get wet.

INCLEMENT WEATHER:  We monitor the weather very closely and will try our best to notify you an hour before your tour start time if we are going to cancel.   Sometimes storms move in quickly over Jordan Lake and we might not be able to contact you in time.  If a weather cancellation occurs, you can reschedule your tour or you can request a refund of your deposit.  Please do not assume the tour is canceled if it is raining in the Triangle area - if we do not call/email - the tour will continue as scheduled.  If you are unsure, you can email or call David's cell phone (day of tour only) at 919-741-3800.

WHAT TO BRING: (optional) - sunglasses, binoculars, sunscreen, camera, light jacket.  Dress is casual.

WHAT IS PROVIDED:  Lifejackets (required for ages 12 and under), blankets.  All tours include bagged chips, soft drinks and bottled water.

LARGE GROUP TOURS:  Jordan Lake Tours can accommodate up to 14 guests at a time.  For groups larger than 14, we suggest having a picnic at one of parks and taking turns for a tour.  Pricing will vary depending on how many are in your group.  Please email your request to discuss this option.  Perfect for schools, business meetings, Girl and Boy Scouts troops, church outings and family reunions!

SENIOR-CITIZEN DISCOUNT:  Jordan Lake Tours offers a special discount to assisted-living facilities and other senior-care centers.  Please email for pricing.

GRATUITY: Tips are always appreciated but never expected.

CHILDREN:  Please note lifejackets are required and provided for those 12 and under.  The tour is best for those 7 and up and we request one adult per 2 children.  The rate is the same for adults and children - it is per person on the boat.

PETS & SMOKING:  We love our 4-legged friends as much as the next guy, however, we are unable to allow any pets on the boat.  There is a no-smoking policy on the boat.

BOARDING THE BOAT:  Most tours will leave from Poe's Ridge Ramp (directions below) and the boat will be ready to board 10 minutes prior to your tour start time.  When you enter the parking lot, there is a small box to the right and you must stop and pay for a parking pass. Park in the paved lot and follow the sidewalk through the woods to the ramp.  The ramp is handicap accessible, however, please let us know if you or anyone in your party needs assistance.  The boat is even to the dock (no step) and David will be available to help everyone on board and to their seats.
